Hi Guys
just spent a fortune...on a new 2210 with a FEL and a 54c mower...also a PHD100 and 6"auger
I have lots of fence to put in! and later trees to plant.
I looked at the 2210 and the 4010 side by side and decided that the 4010 was not worth the $4000 extra.
I also liked the width of the tyres on the 2210 which I hope wont rip up the lawn around the house.
anyway there you have it ,the deed is done and I take delivery in two weeks...TWO WEEKS...the dam grass is already 4" high with all the rain we have been getting here in Saskatchewan..

I have a JD2210 with R4's and it doesn't tear up my lawn unless it’s very wet. I use it mainly for cutting the grass and I love it… I too, wanted a JD4110 but couldn’t justify the $3,500 difference since my main use is cutting the grass and a little landscape work for the loader.

Goatee, as with Tom's experience, I too have R4's on my machine, and even though it is quite a bit heavier, it does not tear up the lawn either.
A couple of tips will help though. First on flat level ground, grass especially, you should have the machine in 2wd. Secondly, try to avoid sharp turns and sudden acceleration or deceleration, particularly if your not travelling in a straight line.
Best of luck. ....
